This year I have been training for the Susan G Komen 60-mile breast cancer walk this November. It is an event that is very dear to our family as my niece developed breast cancer at age 32 and is celebrating her third-year cancer free!

I am a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and a second-generation State Farm Agent. I frequented my father’s agency as a child and started working for him when I was 16 years old. It was then that I realized I had a passion for helping people and with building relationships. My office is housed, here in La Verne, in the same location as was my father’s.

I was born and raised in Pomona. I attended Alta Loma High School and Cal Poly Pomona. Working for myself allowed me the freedom to create my own schedule and still be involved in the lives of my son and daughter. Family and friends are important to me. They typically surround me as we take trips to the desert, ride our dirt bikes, enjoy the river in our water toys, and camp in our motorhome. My husband and I share our home with an Australian cattle dog, a blue nose pitbull, and an 20-year-old cat we call Tiger.
